From In-N-Out to Shawarma

It’s been almost a week since we came back from our vacation. I haven’t adjusted to the time shift. I thought I knew jet lag.

I thought it’s all the same. I thought we were this [] close. That I could just shake it off and go to work the next day. I was so wrong to assume! How come nobody told me how jet lag really feels like?! All the jet lags I’ve experienced before were just posers. They were not the real thing!

First things first:

 In-N-Out.

That is the very first thing we did when we arrived in LA. Passed by In-N-Out and grabbed some mean burgers and fries! I have no regrets.  We ate a lot. We had lots of fun. We crossed 2 State Lines. We had an adventure. In fact, I was able to cross out some items on my bucket list!

I can’t wait to blog all about it.

But it will take some time. Maybe at least when I’ve recovered from this stupid jet lag.

Meanwhile, I just want to let you know that I’m back. Back in the sandpit and back to eating my cheap comfort food:

Shawarma. 🙂

      Hi Sanne!
So true! We really started the trip by going to In & Out. Now I’m craving for some animal fries. 😀

I wasn’t able to try In N Out while there but I did have a sh*tload of Five Guys burgers, East Coast’s version of In N Out. :p

    Welcome back! 🙂

Was looking for Five Guys but no luck… anyway, it’ll open in Dubai, I think.
Also, we were able to try White Castle sliders… yum!

      Thanks! Next stop, Doha!! 🙂
