Pre-Loved New Born Clothes – Winner

December 12, 2011 by Sheila | A B & Me 2 Comments

Before I announce the winner, I would just like to thank those who participated. Thank you for the kind words. I did not expect anything like it. When I decided to give away Blake’s clothes, my only thought was that I need to put these things to good use. I never thought that I am actually doing a random act of kindness (raok). And that I would be really helping people.

When the comments started pouring in, I was so touched by some posts. I began to doubt my decision. Especially when somebody mentioned that other people would SELL their clothes to earn extra income.

WHO WOULDN’T WANT EXTRA MONEY?

And then I thought that maybe I should have asked for something in return… like re-blogging my giveaway or for people to follow me. At least I would have a better chance of having a decent amount of traffic everyday.

Despite of everything, kept my promise. I will be giving away Blake’s clothes without anything in return. BUT, reading your comments, I realized that I should have asked participants to justify their reasons for joining instead of choosing a random winner.

There were some entries that are not valid (no email address provided, — and that’s the only thing I asked for!).  There were some that I think are not applicable. But that’s just me. And besides, there’s no turning back now. I just prayed that whoever wins is the most deserving.

I was so happy when I found out who won!

Leowilyn Tan — Congrats and God Bless you and your nieces!

Found this gem while sorting through my phone. Thi Found this gem while sorting through my phone. This was taken a couple of years ago, during the pandemic. I always thought it was funny… but when I showed it to Adam again, he finally told me who he was talking to. 😂

It moved me in a different way this time. Because honestly? We do this a lot. We call on God, and when He answers… we put Him on hold.

But Scripture reminds us:
“Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” — Jeremiah 29:12

If we call, He answers. The question is—are we ready to listen? And when He calls us, are we willing to pick up?

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me.’” — Isaiah 6:8

Yes, God. Here I am.
