Finally got my passport back! Here’s how you can collect your passport from the Philippine Consulate in Dubai after the renewal process:
Philippine Passport Collection Process (Philippine Passport Collection in Dubai)
- Check if your passport is ready for releasing. You can do that through the Philippine Consulate General, Dubai official webpage.
- Deposit your old passport and receipt at the releasing counter
- When your name is called, collect your new passport.
- Go buy some Filipino delicacies outside (optional!)
Notes:
PCG Dubai and Northern Emirates facebook page regularly posts updates when they have new passports for releasing, however, they DO NOT accept appointments for renewal in Facebook which I already stated in my previous post. Also, I see some “kabayans” asking if the people in the consulate could check if their passport is already available etc etc.. Here’s my take on that: the process is very clear, it is OUR responsibility to check if our passport is ready for collection. If your passport is not on the list, then it is not yet ready. Right!?
Also, they will only hold your passport for 6 months from the time it was issued. If it remains unclaimed after this grace period, it will get cancelled. Sorry ka na lang, teh. Let’s all do our part in this process. Less reklamo, more diligence. [edited to add: Check PCG Facebook Page for passport release, they sometimes post advisories.]
Now, time to put stamps and visas on this fresh passport. Weeee!!!

We have not experienced claiming renewed Philippine passport without receipt, I do believe that you will still be able to claim yours. Do your still have your old passport?
I would recommend contacting the consulate directly.

hindi ko po sure. try nyo na lang po i prove na nawala na yung old passport nyo kaya iba yung passport number na hawak nyo.

Nag search po ako sa website ninyo..cheneck ko po kong okay na ung pasport ko.. nag renew po ako sa abudhabi nong May 28 pa po.. mag 3 months na wala parin na post sa website nyo pangalan ko..

I can’t give you a more concrete answer on this one. You have no other choice but to go there and collect your passport. I don’t think they will not give you your passport just because of a lost receipt. Obviously you are the owner, right? good luck.
Hello, I renewed my passport last year on the month of May 2014 in Bacolod City, Philippines. However, I wasnt able to wait as the release will be on the month of July 2014 and my flight was 21st of June 2014. I filled up a form to ask a request to forward my new passport to Dubai Philippines Consulate. Kindly advice on how to check if its there. It has been a year already.

Hello I just read you blog regarding Passport renewal here in Dubai and I would say it really helpful that brought me to explore more on you site. Anyways I just like to ask if your visa was stamped in your old passport do you need to apply new visa to stamp it in your new passport?
Hi Rose, if your old passport has your valid visa, they will return your old passport along with the new one. No need to apply for new visa.

Try nyo pa din po i collect yung passport kung available na. hindi naman nila yun ipa process kung hindi ka nakabayad and ibibigay naman siguro yon sa iyo since passport mo iyon, picture mo yung nandun.
Kung hindi naman ibigay, mas masasagot po ng consulate yung tanong nyo kung nandun na kayo. Good luck po.

Gusto ko lang po malaman kung na process na po ba yong request ko, regarding sa passport renewal ko ,Inapply ko June 26’15 sa DFA Cagayan De Oro City PHILIPPINES. Sa kadahilang hindi ko po sya mahintay gawa nga po ng isang buwan lang ang bakasyon ko,gumawa po ako ng request na dito ko nalang sa dubai UAE kukunin. Naipasa ko po yong request ko nong July 19, 2015. Until now hindi ko pa po nakita name ko sa List ng available For release 5 months na po wala parin passport ko..Sana matugunan ang aking pag alala.

Wala po akong koneksyon sa embahada ng Pilipinas sa UAE. Hindi ko kayo matutulungan sa pagkakataon na ito. Sa consulate po kayo mag tanong or ipa check nyo sa DFA CDO.
PS. inalis ko yung mga passport details na binigay mo dahil delikado na nag iiwan ka ng legal information sa public website.
