Haul Part 1

On Monday I decided to meet up with my cuz and do some catching up. We talked about serious and not so serious stuff. Then we went around the mall with no intention of buying anything, really. There are still a lot of sale going on so definitely our “No Buy” thing would be a major fail.

We checked out H & M. There were tops on sale starting from AED 20. There wasn’t really anything fancy on my size so I just bought a printed t-shirt and these cute necklaces.

Then we stopped by LUSH. I was still having second thoughts on buying Lemony Flutter so I just made small talk with the SA. I tried it, smelled it and without wasting another minute, I bought it. I was also given some samples of Honey I Washed The Kids and Coal Face.

Coal Face is a no nonsense cleanser for oily or teenage skin. The powdered charcoal absorbs excess oils and helps to keep your face clear and free of blemishes. Use this if you want to fight back with some serious cleansing.

Honey I Washed The Kids – Once you’ve unwrapped this mouth-watering toffee scented soap, you’ll immediately want to wash yourself all over with it – and then wash your honey, and then the kids and maybe even gran if she’s lucky. With masses of honey and aloe, this delectable bar is perfect for washing the whole family, even those with sensitive skin. Topped with a slice of beeswax and infused with bergamot and sweet orange to lift spirits right up into honey-heaven.

The only reason why I do not own any LUSH products is because I can’t stand going inside their store. Pathetic I know, but the scent is just overwhelming! Products smells good but putting them all together just makes me dizzy. (Has anyone felt this way or is it just me?)

Anyway, now that I have tried these products I’ll definitely go back for more. Too bad LUSH in UAE doesn’t have a website. I got these stuff from LUSH – Deira City Center.

What LUSH products have you tried? Any recommendations?

Edited to add: They now have a website!! www.lush.ae

It’s not just the scent that overwhelms me! There are so many products to choose from, I don’t know where to start.

I guess I was lucky because the SA was so helpful and she let me try other items. Thumbs up for Lush City Center!
