Almost Two

Time really flies so fast … and it’s faster when you have kids. Everyday they grow up physically, mentally, emotionally while we, the parents, grow old, weak and withering away.

I can’t believe B is almost two. Exactly 21 days from now, she’ll be hitting another milestone in her life. It seems just like yesterday when I was wheeled in the delivery room. It was just like an hour ago, I held her for the first time. Her tiny little hand grasping my finger. 

But time has passed, she’s no longer a baby. She’s too heavy to carry, too big to cradle. My baby, my princess is growing too fast. 🙁


Dear B, 

I may not be perfect but trust that I will not let anything or anyone harm you. Not while I’m alive. 
Remember that you are loved from the moment we learned about you. And no matter how old you get, you will always be my baby … my first born. 

I love you, baby girl.
