I created this blog for two reasons:
1 – I am getting reconnected with the old me.
I used to be very conscious with the way I look. I like painting my nails, experimenting with make up and doing my hair. Somehow, I lost that part of me. Most of the time I’m just too busy or too tired to do anything else.
I always say, this place makes me fugly! Dry skin, wrinkly face, thinning hair. Ugh! Don’t get me started with the seasonal bouts of dandruff and chicken skin! (Seriously, its the weather! We only have two seasons here, HOT and HOTTER!)
I’m not a slob, ok? I like pampering myself….scratch that, I LOVE PAMPERING MYSELF. It’s just that I do not have time. I can’t do it regularly. And my wallet would surely complain.
2 – I love blogging. Whether just blog hopping or writing my own
I love to blog. I love to read blogs. I love to pamper myself. So I now focus my attention on beauty blogs. This is my friend’s fault. She started it! And I followed.
Everything is DIY in this blog unless specified. I am staying pretty for much much less!
I also joined a blog carnival. What is a blog carnival, you ask?
A blog carnival consists of blog post links from different bloggers. The links will consist of a particular topic scheduled for that week. From time to time and at different intervals, one of these bloggers will act as “host” of all those blog post links, thus the term “carnival“.
This is a great way to find bloggers with similar interests, find new friends and most importantly put your own blog out there! Let other bloggers find you. This is a good way to share your own experiences, tips, join contests and even win special prizes!
