I have no travel plans … not this month… not this year. But I guess the travel gods have different things in mind.
I received an invite last week from Turkish Airlines [Europe’s Best Airline] to visit Istanbul with fellow bloggers in the GCC. To say I wasn’t prepared was an understatement. I did not have a visa, I needed to file for vacation days (and explain to my boss that I needed a loooong weekend because…you know, I haven’t been on vacation for two years!), I requested for my passport and other documentation (I will do a separate post on visa application for Filipinos How to apply Turkish Visa for Filipinos).
Anyway, I’m glad that everything is done, and I have my passport, visa and tickets ready. I just need to pack my bags and go. We’re flying early morning tomorrow. So, if you want to see how the trip goes, I will be posting photos on Instagram and Facebook. Also, I will be live tweeting if possible. (That means follow me. LOLS!)
