She likes her chair. She knows that when it is time to eat, she has to sit on her chair. The chair is her place.
It is where she eats her fruits.
and pasta …
… and cakes.
But now, she does not want to sit on her chair. She cries wails like it is the most horrid thing in life.
So now, meal time means one of us has to hold Blake (usually its me), while the other tries to eat quickly. Sometimes Baby Daddy would feed me while I try to restrain the Little One from breaking the plates.
I want to train the Little One to eat with the rest of the family during meal times. I don’t mind if she makes a mess (that can be cleaned!). What’s important is that she learns to have proper meals and that means sitting at the dining table … away from the TV and toys.
Anyone else experiencing this? Will we ever use the high chair again or is it time to get rid of it? Any alternatives? Suggestions are welcome!

Blake does not want to sit at all!
This has been happening to us for a while now! My toddler doesn’t sit on his for all meals but if I let him play a bit (bad habit, I know!) with his sipper or spoon, he sits for a while!
