Goodbye 2013

I can’t believe I’m saying GOODBYE to 2013. Wasn’t it just a few months ago that I was welcoming the new year? I have been truly blessed this year. As they say, “time flies when you’re having fun”.And 2013 was nothing if not fun!! Here’s what I did the past year:

JANUARY:

I started the new year with an itch (LOLS!!) then crossed out some stuff from my bucket list. As for my 2013 goals, well … it will be the same as my 2014 goals.

FEBRUARY:

My cousin visited me in February. We did a lot of things and  sky diving (indoors!) was one of them. Definitely something you would put on your bucket list. We also had some pampering time. 

MARCH:

My birthday month (also my blog anniversary month!). This was also the time I had my first iHop experience.

APRIL:

This was a badass month. I watched an epic concert with my cousins, won tickets for the ComicCon then won 2 tickets for Bruno Mars concert!

MAY:

This is when I fell off the wagon and things spiraled from there. So sad … and pathetic, I know! I also did some changes on the blog. This was also the month that a mermaid appeared in front of me. I also spent a day on a yacht.

JUNE:

Imagine the stress of working far away from family then having one of them sick? Ugh!! My brother was so sick, and we were not there to take care of him. He drove himself to the hospital! On a lighter note, I did a post on my Social Media activities and a look back at my first Aquaventure experience.

JULY:

I posted a three part article about my blogging experience. Check them out here, here and here.

AUGUST:

Finally found shoes that I like. Watched a magic show and stated the reasons why this is not a food blog.

SEPTEMBER:

Sometime in 2013, I got hooked watching Breaking Bad (TV Series). I super love this show!! Also, we decided to try China Sea Restaurant and I finally bought something online!

OCTOBER:

Did I mention that I love Breaking Bad? I made two more posts about it here and here! I also shared out Eid Adventures in Dubai Mall. One of the highlights of this month was when I got invited to the launch of Signature by SK in Melia Dubai — a night spent with friends!!

NOVEMBER:

November was full of surprises! I was invited to Icons Coffee Coutour launch, BBQ nights at Millenium Airport Hotel, The Entertainer App Launch and Mirdiff City Center Flavours of the World. I also attended a make up workshop with Anna De Leon. The best news ever was the invite I got to visit Istanbul courtesy of Turkish Airlines!! — Do check out my post on how to get Turkish Visa for Filipinos!

DECEMBER:

See, I told you it was fast!! December came so quick. Luckily I was able to write my three day trip to Istanbul. Check them out : Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3. I don’t want to end my year on a bad note, but I just had to share. Nevertheless, it has been the best Christmas and New Year’s celebration for me because I am spending them with family. So blessed to have my brother and nephews around for the holidays!!

2013 has been very good to me. I love you 2013 … sadly we have to part. Thank you for the good times.
