Free Printable Feature: Reading Tracker Bundle for Kids and Teens

June 1, 2025 by Sheila | A B & Me Leave a Comment

I’ve shared about how my daughter became a reader, and one thing that really helped us along the way was having some kind of structure—and a visual reminder—of her progress. She’s super visual and loves checking things off, so I made a simple reading tracker bundle we could print and stick on her wall or keep in a folder.

This free printable set is for any parent, teacher, or reader who wants to build better reading habits without overcomplicating things. It’s cute, functional, and totally free.

What’s Inside the Reading Tracker Bundle

  • Book Review Sheet – A simple template to jot down thoughts after reading.
  • Reading Challenge Page – Something fun to complete and check off.
  • Reading Log – Track finished books with space for title, date, author, and rating.
  • Books I Want to Read Next – A visual TBR (to-be-read) list to keep the momentum going.

You can print everything at once or just the pages you’ll actually use. I kept the design clean and minimal so it won’t eat up all your ink.

Why Use a Reading Tracker?

Honestly? Because it helps. Kids (and adults) are more likely to stick to reading when they can see how far they’ve come. Whether it’s logging finished books, setting a goal, or just building a daily reading habit—it all adds up.

We also use it to start little book-related convos. After each book, we talk about what she liked, what didn’t make sense, or what she’d change about the ending. It’s been such a good way to stay connected and understand what kind of stories speak to her.

Final Thoughts

Whether you’re raising a reluctant reader or just want to add some structure to your bookshelf at home, this reading tracker bundle is a low-pressure way to encourage more reading. I hope it helps your kids (or you!) stay inspired and on track.

If you use it, tag me on Threads or Instagram—I’d love to see how you make it your own.

Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!

I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.

Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.

Hey there!
We’re a Filipino family of four figuring things out in California after living in Dubai for years. This space is part blog, part memory box—where we share life lately, parenting wins and fails, travels, and everything in between.

Sometimes it’s deep, sometimes it’s funny, but it’s always honest. Thanks for hanging out with us!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the whole “YOLO I’ve been thinking a lot about the whole “YOLO” mindset. It sounds fun — and sometimes it IS harmless. But when we let it guide our decisions without pause… it can turn into a habit of acting first, thinking later.

This post is just something I made to process that idea. What if we shifted from the YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE to YOU ONLY DIE ONCE?

It’s not being a buzzkill. It’s about modeling self-control, delayed gratification, and faith in action—even when it’s not popular.

What do you think: YOLO or YODO?

Ps. I shared more of the story behind this thought over on @threads if you’re curious (same handle!)
