Coéga Sunwear 2016 Collection – #LoveTheSun

April 17, 2016 by Sheila | A B & Me 8 Comments

It’s already mid April and the weather is still “cool”, at least by Dubai standards. It’s the perfect time for a dip! The water is not too cold and not too hot, just perfect.

But of course, sun protection is still top priority! Just because the temperature is not hot, doesn’t mean we are safe. Good thing we discovered Coéga Sunwear!

COÉGA SUNWEAR

A growing swimwear company based in the United Arab Emirates, Coéga Sunwear specializes in creating and manufacturing UV 50+ protective swimwear for all the family. The company provides stylish, safe and comfortable UV protective sunwear.

Earlier this year, they have launched their 2016 collection which has fabulous and functional designs perfect for the whole family. The wide collection ranges from hats and rashguards to swim shorts and pool shoes. They are available in different fancy colors and prints.

I chose a Pink Hula set for Blake.

  • 1 Piece Pink Hula suit
  • Pink Hat (with nape cover)
  • Pink Pool Shoes

CoegaSunwear_AB&Me01Sun protection at its best! My Blake burns easily so this is just perfect for her. The items were made of good quality, light weight material (80% Polyamide, 20% Lycra). Best of all, it’s made locally in the UAE. Hence, the price is very reasonable for good quality swimwear.

CoegaSunwear_AB&Me02.1I actually want one for myself, so we can be twinsies! 🙂

Price range for the 2016 collection is from AED 50 for swim hats and children’s pool shoes to AED 295 for a ladies full length Slimkini swimsuit.

COÉGA Sunwear is available at: Adventure HQ, Atlantis Aquaventure, Beyond the Beach, Dreamland, JA Oasis Beach Tower, GO Sport, Modell’s Sporting Goods, Sun & Sand Sports, Sun & Sand Sports Kids and Wild Wadi.

I have my eyes on that one piece slimkini swimsuit! Check out the whole collection from their website: www.coegawear.com.

These look fantastic – especially the pool shoes! It’s getting to that stage where I need to pop something on his feet so these would be ideal!

Great to see a local brand producing these, I imagine there’s a big demand for these here as can never find enough rash suits here myself. Instead i tend to bring back from UK so great to see there’s more options here now!

Hello!

Hey there!
We’re a Filipino family of four figuring things out in California after living in Dubai for years. This space is part blog, part memory box—where we share life lately, parenting wins and fails, travels, and everything in between.

Sometimes it’s deep, sometimes it’s funny, but it’s always honest. Thanks for hanging out with us!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the whole “YOLO I’ve been thinking a lot about the whole “YOLO” mindset. It sounds fun — and sometimes it IS harmless. But when we let it guide our decisions without pause… it can turn into a habit of acting first, thinking later.

This post is just something I made to process that idea. What if we shifted from the YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE to YOU ONLY DIE ONCE?

It’s not being a buzzkill. It’s about modeling self-control, delayed gratification, and faith in action—even when it’s not popular.

What do you think: YOLO or YODO?

Ps. I shared more of the story behind this thought over on @threads if you’re curious (same handle!)
