In case you decide to go home for good, want a new car, or just fed up driving, here’s an expat guide on how to sell your car in Dubai.
A week before we traveled to LA, we had the opportunity to stay at Al Maha Arjaan in Abu Dhabi once again. They just renovated their rooms so it was a pleasant surprise. The whole look and feel of the hotel is so much different from the last time we were there!

There are many expatriates who are residents in UAE. In general, expatriate residents should not be outside the UAE for more than 6 months in order for their residence visa to remain valid. A special entry permit is required to be able to return to UAE after six months.
There are circumstances that going back to UAE every 6 months is just not practical. This procedure applies to the following:
I’m Haneen, 27 years old, mommy behind Working Mother of 2. I’m Lebanese moved to UAE 5.5 years ago and now living and working in Sharjah. I have a 2.5 years old daughter and a 10 months old son.
How did you start blogging?
I started in November 2015 when I found myself advising expecting and new moms & answering too many questions on motherhood, experience with my kids, deliveries, balancing life between family and work so thought why not giving it a try. Plus, writing is something I love since ever. And thus Working Mother of 2 was born.
What do you write about?
Working Mother of 2 is mainly about my personal experience with motherhood journey. I only write about things I’ve been through, things I tried before & things I’ve learned since 2013 when I had my 1st baby. My primary goal is to help mommies out there in a way or another as I’ve been through it all and maybe what worked to me, will work for other moms and the things I’ve learned might be of benefit for others. So why not have each others’ backs, support and share our experiences and get to learn from each other.
It’s another long weekend guys!
I’m going to make this quick. I’m listing down some of the things you can do during the weekend without putting a hole in your pocket! Here goes:
These are just some of the things we were able to do. I’m sure there are a lot more hidden gems in the UAE, and just like Pokemon Go, we gotta catch them all!
Stay at home! It’s really not a big deal. Catch up on some sleep. Clean your closet. Read a book. Chill!
As for me, I’m hoping to catch up on my blogging backlog. We promised B that we will be staying in a hotel (don’t worry, we used our Entertainer app so the budget is intact!). Have a guess at which hotel. It’s the oldest hotel building in the UAE!!
Happy long weekend guys!

I began blogging to keep an online diary of motherhood a few months after Baby Z was born. I wanted to share my experiences of parenthood with others as well as keep those memories fresh. Being a stay at home Mum, I also wanted a creative outlet, where I could develop my passion for writing.
During my family’s visit last April, we decided to visit the capital – Abu Dhabi. I asked my cousin to look for a good place to stay (read – affordable!). We were a big group so we needed a big place to stay in. The plan was to stay for one night and then go back to Dubai the next day.

While working in construction industry as sustainability consultant, I realized the need of sustainability awareness in society, especially in UAE back in 2009. To spread the awareness about sustainable lifestyle I started writing this blog, where I share my knowledge and experience of living sustainable or green.
Some time in April, my whole family visited me in Dubai. With just a little over a week stay, I came up with a full list of activities so they can have a truly memorable experience.
I have been in Dubai since 2002 and yet there are still places I have not been to. Luckily, I have a few blogger friends who are very “adventurous“! I found this Old Dubai DIY Walking Tour from Lady’s blog which was a great help for me! Read the full article at Lady and Her Sweet Escapes blog.
I’ve heard of Little Manila waaaay before it opened. A close friend has been telling me all about the newest “pinoy” place to be. Great! A new hang out. They will be serving Filipino food, what could go wrong?
