Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor Menu Launch – Melia Dubai

Despite living in Dubai for 11 years now, I have very limited knowledge in the Indian cuisine. All I know is that I love Butter Chicken with Naan bread. That’s about it. So pathetic, right?!

So when I got invited to attend the Signature new menu launch with celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor in Melia Dubai, I did not think twice. Of course I will be there!

Photos grabbed from Melia Dubai – Facebook Page

The night started with a photo booth and a welcome drink. My kind of night! LOLS

I was so glad to meet up with my friends, Grace of Sandier Pastures, Rosell of Kero’s Celebration and Mio of Third Culture Family. They were already there when I arrived so they had a good head start. LOLS

I did not get what this is but it surely tastes awesome. Can somebody tell me what this is? please?! Can I make it at home?

Mini Samosas. Love them. I think I ate a ton of these.

Again, not quite sure what this is but loved it.

Paneer. Tina Paneer. LOLS. (Ok, I know only a few will get this “joke”. There’s an actress in the Philippines named Tina Paner…she was quite famous when I was growing up.)

Sorry, this is the ladies toilet at Melia. I just loved the way the sinks looked.

You see, I had a very good plan. I was supposed to be taking lots of photos. I even told “A” that he’s going to be my official photographer (using my trusty digi-cam) and I will be taking photos from my iPhone. But here’s a funny story.

I forgot to bring my camera!! LOLS. So, if you want to see beautiful photos of this event, check out this album : Signature by SK New Menu Launch – Melia Hotel Dubai.

Anyway, if ever you’re around Bur Dubai, do check out Melia Hotel Dubai and Signature Restaurant by SK. It’s a hidden gem!

Guilty. I am a butter chicken virgin. somehow I always end up asking for Chicken 65. Don’t ask whatever happened to chicken 64 and 63.

    See you tonight!

I don’t know what Chicken 65 is! You have to introduce me to that dish. LOLS!
