Barbecue Nights at Millenium Airport Hotel – Dubai

About two years ago, I was in a Freddie Mercury phase. I read about him – his life and his work. I watched documentaries almost everyday for a week. I belted out Bohemian Rhapsody every chance I got. (LOLS!!) So an invite from Millenium Airport Hotel presenting their Barbecue Nights with a Freddie Mercury tribute is something I did not want to pass.
I arrived at Millenium Airport Hotel by 8 pm on Thursday (31st October). I was seated with Kero (Kero’s Celebration) and Brigette (IamBrigette).
The night started with this:

Good way to start the night, right? We were welcomed by Gozo’s manager and informed us that we can have a look at their buffet. They have live cooking cooking stations! How cool is that?

There were lots of options but I went straight to the dish that’s not always available … BBQ Spare Ribs (pork, of course!)

It was so tender that it just literally fell of the bones!

I am not really good at buffet … the food overwhelms me. LOLS! Plus I had good company that I was too busy chatting. Soon after, the man of the hour took the stage. (We were not THAT far from the stage … )

Steve Littlewood is UK’s number one Freddie Mercury tribute artist. The resemblance is uncanny! He’s got the voice too. I was shocked with his encore…coming out in shorts and the British flag on his shoulders. (LOLS!!) But all is well …

I really enjoyed Thursday BBQ night. Millenium Airport Hotel has done it again!

If you want to experience (affordable) Al Fresco dining, I suggest you visit The Terrace at Millenium Airport Hotel – Dubai. They have a different theme every night which will suite your taste:

  • Sunday : Latino Samba
  • Monday : Mediterranean
  • Tuesday : Oriental
  • Wednesday : Out of Africa
  • Thursday: Barbecue Night
  • Friday : Seafood Galore
  • Saturday : Arabian Night

Theme Nights comes with unlimited soft beverages and 8 rounds of house alcoholic beverages for AED 149.00 / person and starts at 7:00 pm till 11:00 pm.
